Lycanroc Is The Sleeper Pick In A Mega Meta! | Pokemon TCG

0:00 Intro 6:54 Gameplay 33:04 Outro Welcome back to another Pokémon TCG deck profile! Today we're taking a look at Lycanroc, an incredible one-Prize Pokémon capable of hitting massive numbers depending on how much damage is already on your opponent's Active Pokémon. What makes this deck even better is Lycanroc's Ability, which lets you attach Spikey Energy from the discard pile whenever you evolve into Lycanroc. Not only does this provide great energy acceleration, but Spikey Energy also punishes your opponent by placing damage counters on their Pokémon whenever they attack. Since we're playing a Fighting-type deck, we also get access to the powerful Lunatone and Solrock engine to help draw through the deck and keep our setup consistent. On top of that, Tarragon allows us to recover Pokémon and Energy back to our hand, giving us plenty of resources to keep the pressure on throughout the game. The result is a highly consistent deck that can trade incredibly efficiently and knock out huge Pokémon ex and Mega Pokémon while only giving up a single Prize card. If you're looking for a fun, budget-friendly deck that can compete with some of the biggest threats in the format, Lycanroc may be exactly what you're looking for.
