We are on the way to Curtorim. We are going to meet our old friend Maclon, who has just become a daddy. So we are going to celebrate with new daddy Maclon and have a nice bite of a real array of interesting new stuff he has to serve in his gada I said Maclon’s gada because that is how he started out so that’s what stuck in my head. He has a cafe now, which is located on this road, which comes straight from Sonsoddo in Margao to Curtorim. Maclon started with a wood-fire pizza oven on a gada outside Curtorim church. He has a full fledged cafe in Curtorim now, doing roaring business Maclon’s wood fired oven pizza cafe is immediately after the St Xavier Institute, just 150 m before Curtorim lake and 500 m before St Alex church How much Maclon has grown. Just check out this huge menu. Imagine going from a small gado serving 5-6 pizzas to dozens and dozens of pizzas. I can see more grilled items also, like chicken lollipop, pork tenderloin, mutton chops. That chicken cafreal is also new Maria is already inside the cafe, checking out the new offerings. Nice and chilled Our first dish was the chicken cafreal. Check out that beautiful grilled chicken. What a huge portion. Maclon gives 3 boneless leg pieces. His cafreal was really very, very juicy, very tender, and it was different taste because it was grilled in the wood fire The mutton chops were legendary. Five stars. As evenings snacks go in Goa, it doesn’t get better than this, guys. The mutton chops dish at Maclon’s is delectable and just not to be missed. When you want evening snack with wood fire taste, come to Maclon We saw in both the cafreal and the mutton chop that grilling meat on wood is much, much tastier than cooking on gas We could only have a taste of the Judith’s Special chicken, pork and beef pizza and take the rest home because we were running late and my dog’s babysitter had to leave. The pizza was sizzling hot. Lovely pizza. Chicken, pork and beef and the pork is Goan choriz (Goan sausage). Now this is what I call heaven. Gosh, what a fabulous pizza. Taste is on another level Guys, this is the one and only time on our channel our money was not accepted and we had to agree because it was a gift from Maclon to us for his daughter Daniella’s christening.
