we are STILL NOT okay... AFTER ALL IVE DONE, ILL DISAPPEAR || LORNA SHORE reaction

instagram:   / heartcore.i   tiktok:   / heartcore.t   business inquiries: heartcore.mail@gmail.com ----- Part two of the Pain Remains trilogy and y'all... we are NOT well. "After All I've Done, I'll Disappear" had a literal trigger warning we had to acknowledge before we were even allowed to watch the video, and now we understand why. Going in we knew this trilogy gets sadder as it goes, but seeing it play out hit so much harder than reading about it. The lyrics absolutely wrecked us, especially "the world I knew keeps passing unlike the void I have become." That whole concept of your world stopping while everyone else's keeps spinning?? Devastating. Abi was so locked into the music video and lyrics that she had a hard time even taking in the music. Gabby felt this song leaned into a more repeating chorus structure than other Lorna tracks, which usually feel like full storytelling journeys, and it made it hit different. Shoutout to the drummer (Austin Archey we think??) because what he is doing is INSANE. We need a drum cam moment immediately. The guitar solos, the cinematic video direction, every single member of this band is operating on a completely different level. This is a tight knit group and it shows. We're seeing them live soon and we cannot WAIT, even though Gabby still thinks the outdoor amphitheater situation with Motionless In White is a little random for Lorna's vibe. Like... Lorna Shore in a beanie and a scarf? Or worse, Lorna Shore in the summer heat? We'll figure it out. How many tears did YOU shed for part two? Drop your thoughts in the comments and brace yourselves with us for part three. If you enjoyed, show our buttons some love and we'll see you on the next one!! Bye bye. ----- 🖤show our buttons some love if you agreed with our takes (or if you disagreed and wanna tell us all about it) please drop any and all suggestions in the comments for future listens! curated playlist of bands we cover: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3vz...
