AWD Manual Swap: Engine Loom Rewire & Subframe Reinstallation — Episode 8

In Episode 8 of the AWD Manual Swap series, we convert the main engine harness to match the wiring layout of a factory manual‑equipped P1. This episode walks through the process of identifying the differences between the auto and manual looms, repinning and rerouting circuits, and ensuring the harness integrates cleanly with the ECU and gearbox‑related wiring. With the wiring complete, we move back to the mechanical side of the project: reinstalling the angle gear, refitting the prop shaft, and bolting the subframe back into place. By the end of this episode, the car finally starts to look like a complete AWD manual — with the electrical and driveline foundations locked in and ready for the next stage of the build.
