Rainbow Bridge | A Song for the Pets We Never Stop Loving

I originally wrote Rainbow Bridge in 2024 for a friend who was grieving the loss of her parrot. I didn’t know what words could possibly make that kind of loss hurt any less, so I wrote a song instead. It was one of the first times I had ever taken my writing and turned it into music. I’ve come back to this song a few times since then as I’ve grown and learned more as a songwriter. But this time, I didn’t just want to rerecord it. I wanted to give it an entirely different sound while keeping the lyrics and heart of the original. This is Rainbow Bridge, reimagined. For every paw, feather, and heartbeat we carry with us. No matter how much or how little time we’re given, it never feels long enough.
