[KHI C151 017/018 - Joyride from EW11 Lavender → EW7 Eunos] Date filmed: 14 March 2025 Time of recording: between 1852hrs to 1901hrs Towards: (1) Pasir Ris Train Model: Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151 (GTO-VVVF Variant) Train Run: 357 Depot of Origin: Tuas West Depot Final Destination Depot: Changi Depot Carriage filmed at: 1017 door A4/B4 area AM/PM/Full Day: PM Peak Service (from Tuas Depot, Last Trip) This video features a Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) C151, trainset 017/018, which is from Tuas Depot (TWD) to serve the East-West Line (EWL) for the PM Rush Hours, from EW11 Lavender to EW7 Eunos stations, bound for EW1 Pasir Ris. Seems that car 1017 door A4/B4 area (or No. 2 end) has a new strong motor developed. Not very sure if it was taken from another KHI that had this kind of strong motor, but it does have some resemblance to former car 2041 door A4/B4 (or No. 2 end) strong motor. Pretty cool for this KHI C151 to have a strong motor since the strong motor at car 2017 got removed. I have tried out car 1017 door A4/B4 area before, but this strong motor was never heard. So, there is a high chance that it would have probably gotten the motor from another KHI C151 train during its maintenance period in Tuas Depot between late-January to early-February 2025. 📲 Follow me on socials!
