Geldingadalir Volcanic Peculiarity May 1st 2021

Lucky to have a drone shooting at the right time. After continuous activity for the past 6 weeks the Volcano paused for several minutes and then ... well just have a look. Amazing. Unfortunately the drone footage has no sound. Believe me, the sound was awesome! You just need to visit Iceland to experience the whole unbelievable life changing visuals and sounds of a volcano in close proximity . UPDATE: It was confirmed this morning, that I was lucky enough to capture the first major change in the eruption in a awhile. The activity decreases to an almost zero for about 3 minutes and then it erupts with lava spewing to a height of approx. 300 metres for 10 minutes. Until this change at about midnight of 2. of May it was quite steady in activity. According to some scientist this development is similar to the Surtsey eruption 1963 which lasted for almost 4 years.
