Here's something that I was leading up to ever since I played on the PCSX2. Stage 1.0 with Ragnarok - 0:36 Stage 2.2 with Albatross - 6:55 Stage 3.0 with Cross the Rubicon - 10:13 Stage 3.5 with Delta - 16:30 Stage 4.0 with Grand Finale - 19:58 Stage 5.0 with Last Dancer - 24:41 Stage 6.1 with Leo II - 30:21 Stage F-B with Bydo System Alpha - 32:16 Ending - 39:24 I've never recorded an F-B playthrough. My first No Miss game on R-Typer Difficulty was in summer 2017 through the F-A route. My second was in summer 2023 through the F-C route. I recorded F-C again a few days before this video. F-B route was unfinished business and I'm glad I was able to get it. Notes - In all of my R-Type Final game - original, 2, and 3 Evolved, I've never replaced the Arrowhead as the first ship, but as there are only eight slots in this game and eight total stages including 3.5, I had to replace it. I wanted to use something different than what I used in the F-C route. I was originally going to use the POW-Armor in 3.5 because it's another ship from R-Type Delta, but its Wave Cannon would occasionally miss. Tried with the Cerberus and couldn't get some of those floating fireballs when there was more than one on screen. Lastly I used the Delta - because I love it - and because its Wave Cannon is more forgiving if you're not totally on target. Again, I cut out "Piano Smasher" from Blue Man Group for two reasons - first, it gave me a copyright claim in 2017 when I left the track intact, limiting where the video could be viewed, and second - the track DOES. NOT. FIT. THIS. GAME. It's too techno and bass heavy. If the NA version of the game had used the Japanese track, which is much more fitting, I would have left it in copyright claim or not.
