Hey friends, This episode of Melodic Minute explores a new setup: the Elektron Digitone and the Meris Mercury X. My Drop is away for repair, so the Digitone MK1 made a comeback and got the whole episode to itself. All four tracks are running at once — bass, pad, pluck and a bird-like arp — with LFOs moving somewhere on every one of them. The Mercury X gives it space, and its pre-delay handles the delay tails. There is a theme running through this jam. See if you can guess it before I give it away at the end. There was also a real thunderstorm outside the studio while I recorded this. Some of it made it into the video.
