বাংলাদেশকে বলা হয় মাছে ভাতে বাঙালি। এর কারণ হলো বাংলাদেশে রয়েছে অসংখ্য হাওর, বাওড়, নদী, খাল, বিল। যার মধ্যে নাটোরের চলনবিল অন্যতম। এই চলনবিল শুধু নাটোর জেলাতেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। নাটোর, সিরাজগঞ্জ, পাবনা এবং নওগাঁ জেলার ও কিছু অংশ নিয়ে বিস্তৃত। যা শীতকালে হয় বিস্তীর্ণ ফসলি জমিন আর বর্ষার মৌসুমে বিশাল জলাসমুদ্র। বর্ষার মৌসুমে এই বিলের মাঝে ছোট্ট গ্রাম গুলোকে মনে হয় যেন ছোট্ট ছোট্ট এক একটা দ্বীপ। তাই আমার এবারের গন্তব্য ছিল সেই চলনবিলের গহীনের মানুষের জীবন যাপন দেখার। এই ভিডিওতে তুলে ধরেছি চলন বিলের গহীনে মানুষেরা কিভাবে জীবন সংগ্রাম চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং চলনবিলের লুকানো সৌন্দর্য ফুটে উঠেছে এই ভিডিওতে। Bengalis are known as 'Maache-Bhate Bangali' (people raised on fish and rice).
