Hard Fast and Having Fun - Korg Wavestate, Deluge and Digitone jam

Last week I got these amazing MIDI controllers from Faderfox and I wanted to get them set up to control my gear. Best way to do that was to use them to record a track properly. This track starts out slowly but builds into a driving acid-style techno sound. It took a lot of practice to bring all of it together and remember the order to play each piece in - but it was a good learning experience. The Faderfox MX12 controls the levels of tracks across the Deluge, Digitone and Wavestate. The first four tracks are volume on sets of Deluge tracks. I've labeled them so I know which part of the overall track each fader controls. Then I have a fader for the Wavestate volume and more Deluge tracks for the intro piece. The last four faders control the 4 tracks on the Digitone for drums and lead synths. Each of the green buttons on the MX12 controls a track mute/unmute for the Deluge and Digitone. The grey buttons on the MX12 send a program change to the Digitone to select a pattern to play; I have 4 patterns loaded in bank A. The Faderfox PC12 is mounted above the MX12 and I've mapped each column of knobs to control parameters that make sense for each track. Most tracks have a HPF filter frequency and resonance mapping, except on the Wavestate where I mapped the Pitch, Sample and Timing performance knobs. On the Digitone I map the Harmonics and Mix parameters per track as a small change in those creates huge sonic variations. The green buttons on the PC12 send a program change to the Wavestate to select a pattern from the performance set list. I do some AUX processing on the audio via my pedals and then multitrack record everything into Logic for final mastering.
