#2 Christopher Paladino – Beyond Type 1 Christopher Paladino is a type 1 diabetic, firefighter, boxer, real estate investor, entrepreneur and marathon runner. In this episode, he dives deep into his battle with type 1 diabetes and balancing such a busy lifestyle. Chris serves as a key example of someone who does not allow his disadvantages to hinder his performance. Despite being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6, Chris has been able to give this disease the cold shoulder and pursue life even harder. Just the other day he ran the 25th annual Tunnel to Towers NYC 5K honoring FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller's final 9/11 footsteps. Chris decided to turn this into his very own marathon and ran all the way home to Yonkers.
