Buffalo Super Rush by Aristocrat combines familiar Buffalo gameplay with a collecting Bonus that reminds me of Fo’ Mo’ Mummy. There are four features to chase—Extra Spins, Extra Reels, Extra Power, and Extra Symbols—and all four can combine in the same Bonus! Each also has a Super upgrade, and additional features or upgrades can land while the Bonus is underway. The base game plays with 1,024 ways, with matching symbols paying from left to right on adjacent reels. Look for a treasure chest on reel one along with colored diamonds: purple activates Extra Spins, blue activates Extra Reels, red activates Extra Power, and green activates Extra Symbols. Rainbow diamonds can award any single feature or combination, and diamonds can also randomly trigger features without a chest. Diamonds can carry Credit Prizes or jackpots, including the GRAND, MAJOR, and MAXI Progressive Jackpots, plus the fixed MINOR and MINI. The Buffalo Super Rush Bonus starts with five spins on a 5x5 Reel Set and a 2x2 collection zone. Diamonds move that zone around the reels, collecting their own prizes along with buffalo coins and other diamonds inside it. Collect five diamonds to grow the zone to 3x3 and add three spins, four more to reach 4x4 and add two spins, then three more to reach 5x5 and add another spin. Extra Reels expands the Reel Set to 5x7, while Super Extra Reels takes it to 5x9, with further collection-zone expansions and extra spins available. Extra Spins can add one spin to collected symbols, or two with the Super upgrade. Extra Power can randomly apply a 2X multiplier for a spin, increasing to 3X with Super Extra Power, while Extra Symbols adds double symbols and its Super version adds triples. Activating a previously inactive feature also adds a spin. Once the collection zone reaches at least 3x3, landing a Stampede symbol inside it triggers the Stampede Hold & Spin Feature before the main Bonus continues. Filled positions hold while the empty positions spin, starting with three respins that reset whenever a new position fills. If the first three respins add nothing, the counter resets to three for another chance. The goal is to Fill the Screen within the collection zone, and all prizes inside that zone are collected when Stampede ends. Active Extra Spins and Extra Symbols features can help here too, and a 2X or 3X Extra Power multiplier awarded on the triggering spin also applies to Stampede prizes. During the Buffalo Super Rush features, prizes can include Credit Prizes, MINOR, and MINI awards. There’s also a separate Free Games Feature: three, four, or five gold coin scatters award eight, 15, or 20 Free Games, respectively, plus a Bonus credit award. Two or more scatters can retrigger, with two awarding five additional games. Sunset wilds multiply wins by 2X or 3X during Free Games, and the Buffalo Super Rush features can trigger from those spins as well. For me, the big chase is combining features, getting the Super upgrades, and growing that collection zone before Stampede lands! I love this Mashup of Buffalo and Fo’ Mo Mummy – there will be more!
