Mapping Ruboni, Uganda onto the tourist map

The Open Mapping Hub Eastern and Southern Africa collaborated with Ruboni Community Conservation and Development to map tourist attractions. Through our Open Mapping Grant Program, local guides and community members were trained to use open mapping tools, making tourist attractions visible on the map. Thanks to The Audacious Project's support, improved digitized maps in Ruboni have increased the visibility of tourism attractions, resulting in a positive socio-economic impact on the livelihoods of local people.
