Hey I am Usman a Software Engineer in Pakistan and if you want are a student of CS these tools would be very helpful to you.
On this channel I share my journey and all the tips and tricks of the current tech sector and AI trends so Subscribe and follow along
I went through AI engineering job posts in Pakistan, and almost all of them want the same thing: a backend engineer who can build with AI. Here's the exact 5-stage roadmap I'm following to become an AI engineer in 2027, with a test project, a checkpoint and free resources for every stage.
Full guide (checklist, every test project, every free resource):

FREE RESOURCES BY STAGE
Stage 1: Python and backend
Harvard CS50's Introduction to Programming with Python: https://cs50.harvard.edu/python/
FastAPI official documentation: https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/
Test project: an API for university courses and past papers, with endpoints that fetch the data.
Checkpoint: you can build a FastAPI project with endpoints without following a tutorial line by line.
Stage 2: How LLMs work and prompting
Andrej Karpathy's YouTube channel: / @andrejkarpathy
DeepLearning.AI free short courses: https://www.deeplearning.ai/short-cou...
Test project: paste a messy job post, get back structured output (skills, experience, salary).
Stage 3: RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
Hugging Face free courses: https://huggingface.co/learn
Test project: write 20 questions, build a RAG system over your documents, and check it answers them right.
Stage 4: Agents and MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Test project: an AI agent that checks job boards every morning and emails you the 5 best jobs for your skill level. Bonus: plug in your Stage 2 project.
Stage 5: Ship it and get seen Learn Docker and deployment, host your projects, put them on GitHub with a live link and a proper README, then post them on LinkedIn: how you built it, what tech you used and what problem it solves.
