Treaty Days in Fort Chipewyan

Back in June we travelled way up to the far north of the province in Fort Chipewyan for their Treaty Days and felt the warmth and welcome of one of the oldest communities in the province. Over the course of this project touring towns and events like this I have been honoured to be invited into First Nations circles and I've gained a deeper respect for their culture every time. So many of our communities have deep ties to the indigenous people and there is so much to learn.
