1983 Gibson Explorer Heritage Series Korina overhaul

1983 Gibson Explorer Heritage Series Korina came to my place, pots not working fine, not movable, crackling, so we decided to get new better working parts in that wonderful guitar. The pot values been 267k neck volume, 269k bridge volume, both linear tapers, and 117k for the tone pot. Sounded like the amp in a closed garage. I used about 460k log pots with 30% log curve for the volume pots, a 490k log for the tone pot with a 7,5% log curve. Also I added a nice NOS PIO cap with 22nf. Now you can use the knobs, now the garage door is open, specially the neck pickup now got useable, cause before the neck pickup was really poor sounding. It´s already back to its owner, who is having big fun with this babe now!
