EOCO secures court warrant to arrest Manhyia South MP Nana Baffour Awuah

EOCO has secured a court warrant to arrest Manhyia South MP Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah. The warrant comes a week after an unsuccessful attempt to arrest the MP at the Accra High Court. EOCO says it had exhausted efforts to secure his voluntary attendance and has also been authorised to search for and seize relevant documents. The case is linked to an ongoing investigation involving SIC Life Savings & Loans. The MP disputes aspects of EOCO’s account.
