The 80s Promised Us a Better Future - Running Out Of Time (SynthPrincipal)

#synthwave #music #2026 ============================================================ We’re still grieving a future that disappeared. One minute, the future looked like space ships, VHS static, game manuals, and music that made night-time feel bigger than real life… …then somehow we ended up here. With 9 subscriptions, 47 notifications and a phone that can answer any question except “why am I tired all the time?” But we all still remember the vibe anyway... EVEN if we weren’t there. 👉🏼 the blue glow from a box TV in a dark bedroom 👉🏼 the mall when it still felt like a place humans went 👉🏼 the frantic sound of games trying to load 👉🏼 and that one song you couldn't Shazam, so you just had to carry it around in your head like a tiny curse 💀🤌🏼 That whole era feels like it got ripped away mid-scene. Like the credits rolled right before the best part. Everything needs an account, a monthly subscription, AND access to your entire contacts list. 😵‍💫 So yeah, I get why we keep going back. Not because the 80s and 90s were perfect. They weren’t. Obviously.✋🏼 Nostalgia is a dirty liar that edits out reality like: ✔️ the soul-crushing screech of dial-up internet ✔️ Climbing through windows when you forgot your key.. ✔️ The public somehow agreeing that bowl cuts were ok ✔️ and having to call a crush’s house and speak to their DAD Nostalgia doesn’t care about being accurate... but the world is on fire. So we deserve at least 3 minutes of peace. 💃🕺🏻 That’s what Running Out of Time is. 🏎️💨 A song for a timeline where everything stayed a little slower. A little less… whatever this is. 💀🌌 ============================================================ 𝔽𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕄𝕖 𝕆𝕟 𝕊𝕠𝕔𝕚𝕒𝕝 𝕄𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕒: 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 ➤   / synthprincipal   𝐓𝐈𝐊 𝐓𝐎𝐊 ➤   / synthprincipal   𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃 ➤   / synthprincipal   𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃 ➤   / discord
