Welcome back, Championship! 😅 After a long summer, Bristol City finally kicked off the 2026/27 Championship season at Ashton Gate against Millwall. There was a real feel-good atmosphere around the club before kick-off, but unfortunately things couldn’t have gone much worse. Millwall took the lead, City were reduced to 10 men and despite battling away, we couldn’t find a way back into the game. Millwall eventually made it 2–0 and Bristol City begin the Championship season with no points.
