The Rock Garden is one of Darjeeling's popular scenic attractions, combining mountain landscapes, waterfalls, rocky terraces, greenery, tea gardens and winding hill roads. It was constructed by the Gorkha Hill Council Tourism Department and was inaugurated by Subhash Ghising. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🚗 Dali Monastery to Rock Garden – Our Road Experience From Dali Monastery, Rock Garden was approximately 4.5 km for us. The drive itself became an important part of our experience. The road is narrow, steep and full of sharp bends, so careful driving is essential. At the same time, the route offers beautiful views of: 🌿 Lush green valleys 🍃 Tea gardens 🏔️ Mountain landscapes 🌄 Winding hill roads However, during our visit, we found the last 2–3 km particularly difficult, with large potholes and poor road conditions. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌊 Rock Garden & Chunnu Summer Falls Rock Garden is developed around Chunnu Summer Falls, with the landscape incorporating natural rocks, flowing water, greenery, pathways and viewpoints.
