A shorter tier list about the recruitable characters in Ogre Battle 64. Some come as the class they will always be, some evolve as the game progresses, and others are just unique sprites of common classes. There were many factors to consider, such as overall utility and use, how early you get the character, their adaptability, how good they are to start vs their late game scaling... It was a challenge putting everyone into meaningful ranks. Someone might win a 1v1 fight with another character, but have less utility as a leader or character.
