Lab 04: LabVIEW Implementation: Part I - Image Processing, Convolution and Edge Detection

In this laboratory session, we demonstrate the practical implementation of two-dimensional signal processing concepts using LabVIEW. The experiment introduces image acquisition and processing in LabVIEW, followed by the implementation of 2-D convolution using image kernels. Different convolution kernels are used to process the image, demonstrating edge detection and other spatial filtering operations. The laboratory also connects the theoretical concepts of 2-D convolution and spatial filtering with practical image-processing implementation in the LabVIEW environment.
