Jim's Trout

In 1985, Jim Maughan R.I.P. caught a magnificent 8.5lb trout in the Boyle River. In this film, Jim displays the fish and tells how he caught it just a short while before filming in Scanlon's Pub. In the film look out for Boyle men Dermot Scanlon, Christy Regan and Vincent Geelan. Brian Scanlon 'shot' the film and it comes now to Youtube courtesy of Kerry Maughan via Brendan O'Dowd
