«Σώμα και ψυχή, ο Πόντος ζει» — Body and Soul, Pontos Lives

Ever since Pontians carried their music and faith out of Pontos in the early 1900s, keeping these traditions unbroken in the diaspora has taken immense love, sacrifice, and devotion. This feature documentary spotlights master lyratzis Vaggelis Pesiridis as he reflects on his lifelong calling to the Pontian lyra. Carrying forward a sacred musical lineage inherited from his father, Vaggelis devotes his life to playing, teaching, and inspiring the next generation so that our Black Sea heritage is never forgotten. Featuring interviews and perspectives from the dance director and youth dancers of Pontiaki Estia of Massachusetts, this film honors the sacrifice, pride, and generational passion behind keeping Pontian music and culture alive today.
