Rocksmith+ Bass – Let’s All Help the Cowboys (Sing the Blues) by Waylon Jennings

Playing "Let’s All Help the Cowboys (Sing the Blues)" by Waylon Jennings on bass in Rocksmith+. Recorded July 11, 2026. "Let’s All Help the Cowboys (Sing the Blues)" appears on Waylon Jennings’ 1975 album Dreaming My Dreams. The song was written by Jack Clement, who also worked closely with Waylon during the making of the album. The song plays with the mythology of the cowboy, looking past the tough, independent image to the loneliness and heartbreak underneath it. It fits perfectly with the more reflective side of Waylon’s outlaw-country sound. Dreaming My Dreams became one of the defining albums of Waylon’s career, mixing hard-driving outlaw country with quieter songs about regret, love, and the realities behind the larger-than-life cowboy image. The album sessions featured musicians including Duke Goff and Joe Allen on bass, Ralph Mooney on steel guitar, Richie Albright and Kenny Malone on drums, and several of Nashville’s leading session players. 🎸 Rocksmith+ bass gameplay 📅 Recorded July 11, 2026 🎶 Outlaw country / classic country vibes 💿 From Dreaming My Dreams (1975) ✍️ Written by Jack Clement 🤠 A bluesy look behind the cowboy mythology ❤️ WILDFIRE RELIEF I'm supporting American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
