Hindutva Row Explodes Before Diwali: Congress Leaders' Remarks Trigger Fiery Debate | Upfront

A fierce political debate has erupted over remarks by Congress leaders Digvijaya Singh and Udit Raj on Hindutva and Hindu identity, just ahead of Diwali. On Times Now's India Upfront, anchor Pranesh Roy questioned the Congress's comments and their implications, while panelists clashed over the distinction between Hinduism and Hindutva, the Supreme Court's 1995 judgment, and the RSS's role in India's freedom struggle. The debate also saw sharp exchanges over religious identity, political rhetoric and allegations of selectively targeting Hindu traditions. #timesnow #englishnews #hindutva #digvijayasingh #uditraj #hinduidentity #hindutvarow #congress #diwali #nationwantstoknow Connect with Pranesh On X: https://x.com/roypranesh Times Now - Times Now News channel examines news with in-depth analysis.
