“India has the highest…”: ONGC’s Om Prakash Sinha highlights Bharat’s growing energy demand

At India Energy Week’s curtain-raiser in Ahmedabad, ONGC Director (Exploration) Om Prakash Sinha highlighted India’s growing energy demand and the importance of global collaboration. He said India Energy Week has emerged as a key platform to discuss energy challenges, explore new technologies and connect India’s energy priorities with the global community. “This will be the fifth edition of India Energy Week, which will be held in Kolkata in January 2027. This curtain-raiser event is being organised as part of the preparations for the main event. Along with the main event in Kolkata, curtain-raisers are being organised in Ahmedabad, Dehradun and Delhi. Gujarat, where this programme is being held, has an important place in India’s energy sector... India is currently the country with the highest incremental energy demand globally. This is why India Energy Week, held every year, has become an important platform where energy-related requirements, challenges and solutions can be discussed. The solutions are not limited to Indian industries or technology experts. It is a truly global platform where we can learn from developments around the world, adopt new technologies and also take India’s perspective to the global energy community. Against this background, India Energy Week has become a successful platform in the country...” he added. #IndiaEnergyWeek #ONGC #EnergyDemand #IndiaEnergy #EnergySector Join ANI's YouTube membership to get access to perks:    / @aninewsindia   Subscribe now and press the bell icon 🔔 to get new video updates: https://bit.ly/2UV4ygi -------------------------------------- ANI is South Asia's leading Multimedia News Agency providing content for every information platform, including TV, Internet, broadband, newspapers, and mobiles.
