A Day in the Park with Barney | Universal Studios Florida (2000) | Rare Home Video

Take a trip back to Universal Studios Florida in 2000! This vintage home video captures A Day in the Park with Barney, the beloved live stage show located in Woody Woodpecker's KidZone at Universal Studios Florida. Filmed during our family vacation around the holiday season of 2000, this footage offers a nostalgic look at one of Universal's most memorable children's attractions. The show featured Barney and his friends singing, dancing, and interacting with the audience in a colorful indoor theater. Originally opening in 1995, A Day in the Park with Barney entertained generations of young Universal visitors before permanently closing in 2021. This footage was originally recorded on our family's camcorder and has been preserved from the original home video. I'm working on uploading more footage from this same vacation, including Universal's Grinchmas festivities during the year Jim Carrey's How the Grinch Stole Christmas was released! If you love vintage theme park footage, defunct attractions, or early-2000s nostalgia, enjoy this little trip back in time! 📍 Universal Studios Florida – Orlando, Florida 🎭 Attraction: A Day in the Park with Barney 📅 Filmed: Approximately 2000 📼 Source: Original Family Home Video #UniversalStudios #Barney #UniversalOrlando #ThemeParkHistory #VintageUniversal #2000sNostalgia #DefunctAttractions
