The 16-day-old male Hamadryas baboon was born on April 4 at Mysore zoo in southern India. But within few hours, his mother Doyanna refused to feed him. The zoo authorities quickly intervened to prevent the baby from dying and took up the challenge of hand-rearing the primate. Ever since they have been feeding him milk with a bottle.
