Steve Dobrogosz (b.1956) is an American-born composer and pianist based in Sweden. His landmark work Mass (1992) follows the traditional structure of the Catholic liturgy while blending jazz influences and contemporary sensibilities. It sings of the joy and peace of faith, weaving modern harmonies, lyrical melodies, and jazz-inflected rhythms into a distinctive musical language.
