Saudi Arabia promised a mirrored city 170 kilometers long and 500 meters tall. Reporting now says further work on The Line is pushed past 2030. Not canceled — deferred. The 2030 target had already shrunk to 2.4 kilometers. Nine million residents became a much smaller number.
