ISTRSKA EPSKA TURA: Od Hrastovelj do Žbevnice in Ušes Istre (54km | 1390m)

Raziskovanje neokrnjene Istre na dveh kolesih – od zgodovinskih Hrastovelj do razgledne Žbevnice in naravnih čudes Velega Badina. Pridružite se mi na še eni nepozabni turnokolesarski pustolovščini po slovenski in hrvaški Istri! To potovanje se je začelo v Hrastovljah, pod znamenito cerkvico svete Trojice (165 m), od koder me je pot najprej vodila na Veliki Gradež (507 m). A to je bil šele začetek. Pot me je zanesla preko mejnega prehoda Rakitovec globoko v osrčje Istre, kjer sem osvojil vrh Žbevnice (1014 m). Razgledi z vrha so preprosto dih jemajoči in vredni vsake kaplje znoja! Sledil je tehničen in hiter spust, vrnitev v Slovenijo ter vožnja po divji Movraški turnokolesarski poti. Vrhunec ture? Spodmoli Veli Badin, znani kot "Ušesa Istre". Ta naravna znamenitost vas bo pustila brez besed, čeprav pot do tja in naprej proti svetemu Kviriku (408 m) zahteva odlično kondicijo in občasno tudi potiskanje kolesa. Zaključek ture je postregel z neverjetnim spustom skozi Gračišče in Kubed nazaj do izhodišča. This journey began in Hrastovlje, below the famous Church of the Holy Trinity (165 m), from where the path first led me to Veliki Gradež (507 m). But that was just the beginning. The route took me across the Rakitovec border crossing deep into the heart of Istria, where I conquered the peak of Žbevnica (1014 m). The views from the top are simply breathtaking and worth every drop of sweat! A technical and fast descent followed, a return to Slovenia, and a ride along the wild Movraž cycling trail. The highlight of the tour? The Veli Badin rock shelters, known as the "Ears of Istria." This natural landmark will leave you speechless, although the path there and onward towards St. Quiricus (408 m) requires excellent fitness and occasional bike-pushing. The tour concluded with an incredible descent through Gračišče and Kubed back to the starting point.
