His Father was Vincent Atillo who was a champion Wrestler, Eskrimador and well known Guerrilla during WW2 for the United States Armed Forces Far East division, and a member of the 85th infantry combat division. His God Father was Delphine Lopez, he was also a guerrilla during WW2 and a champion boxer. Delphine Lopez was a highly feared Eskrimador well known all through out all the Philippines.
