A quick tour of Dauphin Island (DI), Alabama, showing a selection of sights, beaches and restaurants. What an amazing place to have had the privilege to visit and spend quality time at. The rustic environment as compared to the more commercial Florida Gulf Coast areas I've visited so far was quite refreshing. I found the people on DI to be so welcoming and helpful. The fishing was excellent, as were the beaches, restaurants and other island features, which include a super cool fort and an aquarium. It's a special place, not to miss if you're travelling through!
