Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Apricus, Gillette Rocket HD 500 (1953) [#459]

Today’s YMMV Shave features a traditional wet shave using a 1953 Gillette Rocket HD 500; the same model razor my father taught me to shave with. We use a new old stock, Czech made Gillette Red Stainless blade, Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Apricus soap, which is lathered up with a Brushguy 26mm Boti Super High Density Stone Middle Flower badger brush. Post shave enjoy Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Apricus balm and splash to match the soap and finish off with Dior Eau Sauvage Eau de Parfum. As always, your mileage may vary – this is simply my experience with this setup.
