HAPPY JAZZMAN | THE JAZZ IN AMAPIANO | THE HOTBOX INTERVIEW & MIX SESSION

HAPPY JAZZMAN | THE JAZZ IN AMAPIANO | THE HOTBOX INTERVIEW & MIX SESSION Happy Jazzman brings a different flavour to The Hotbox. This week, Hotbox N Chill Network sits down with Happy Jazzman — a South African Amapiano artist, DJ, producer and music composer known for bringing soulful, jazz-influenced textures into the Amapiano sound. From his work on records such as “Mina Nawe”, “Seduce Me” with Nkosazana Daughter, “Kwalula” with Soa Mattrix, and numerous collaborations across the South African music scene, Happy Jazzman has developed a sound that sits comfortably between soulful Amapiano, jazz, deep electronic music and the dancefloor. In The Hotbox Interview, Happy Jazzman gets into his musical journey, his approach to production, the influence of jazz on his sound, working with other artists and producers, and the creative thinking behind the music. With his latest releases and his 2026 project The Jazz In Me, Happy Jazzman continues exploring the connection between jazz, melody and contemporary Amapiano. After the conversation, Happy Jazzman takes over The Hotbox Mix Session, bringing his signature sound to the Hotbox booth. 🎙️ THE HOTBOX INTERVIEW 🎧 HAPPY JAZZMAN — MIX SESSION 🎤 Hosted by Laila Nnyane 🇿🇦 South African Music.
