Join me on this Widerøe flight from Stavanger to Oslo, on board one of its Dash 8-Q400s - the carrier's mainstay on flights to, from and within the western part of Norway. Overall it was an enjoyable flight with Widerøe, just like the outbound one from Sandefjord/Torp the day before. Saturday evenings surely have to be the least busy period for Norwegian domestic aviation, and indeed, our flight was barely a third full. On this occasion the flight was operated by an ex-airBaltic Q400, and the seats were still those from the said carrier - I must say the cabin felt a bit fresher compared to the one we came across the day before, although there were no in-seat cup holders and the tray table was non-adjustable. Other than that, we arrived in Oslo well ahead of schedule, the crew was friendly, and they handed out candies along with the BoB service. Sure, the inflight service itself is nothing extravagant, but for a relatively short flight, it's certainly better than nothing.
