Exploring Puerto Rico's Abandoned $120 Million Tower!

Hidden along one of Puerto Rico’s busiest highways sits a massive abandoned tower with a history most people driving past would never expect. Originally built as the “Prayer Tower” for the church Fuente de Agua Viva, this towering complex once served as a major religious center in Carolina, Puerto Rico before financial struggles and years of abandonment left it sitting empty. Developers later announced plans to transform the property into a futuristic project called Rise Village, a luxury mixed-use development that was supposed to completely reinvent the site. Today the massive structure still stands unfinished and forgotten. In this episode, we explore deep inside the abandoned tower to see what remains today. Along the way we unexpectedly ran into a local named Michael, who shared a ton of history and stories about the property, including details about the church, the failed redevelopment plans, and even the famous dinosaur statue that once stood outside the complex.
