Hayes upset Iona Prep at St. Raymond's in the first round of the NY AA Sectional playoffs. Magic Mel hit multiple 3's and Senior Adam Njie added a couple of spectacular baskets himself. Iona Prep entered the higher seed but was unable to overcome the first half deficit.
