Use THIS Fly for WILD Fish!

This is the humpy, a simple pattern that floats very well and can match a verity of insects. It can even be made into an attractor by swapping out the body dubbing or thread like seen here in red. This is one of my personal favorites to have in the fly box for our wild native Maine Brook trout. Particularly those that are unpressured and willing to take any meal they see. However, it works well to imitate a verity of insects and works for many species.
