MY RUIN ● Live In London: A Brutal Birthday 1.18.06

“The first fact about the celebration of birthdays is that it is a good way of affirming defiantly, and even flamboyantly, that it is a good thing to be alive.” Today is January 18, 2021 and it's my motherfuckin' birthday! 🤘🏻 A next chapter and new beginning but before I go forward, I want to take you back to January 18, 2006 at the Mean Fiddler in London, England to be exact. It was a night to remember. Full of heavy riffs, heartfelt rage, rock love & red lipstick. Were you there? If you were, we hope watching this show 15 years later will bring back memories of your special evening with us front row and if you weren't, we hope you feel like you were while watching it for the first time. Either way, turn up the volume, get ready to rock with My Ruin and enjoy the show. We're living in a Global pandemic and Covid has killed live concerts at the moment so we wanted to give you some much needed scream therapy and escape from the lingering stress of 2020 as we step into a new era. Sadly, the legendary London venue Mean Fiddler closed its doors in 2009 but we feel lucky to have been a part of it's iconic rock legacy. While archiving our vault for our 20th Anniversary album "The Cathartic Collection" which we released on 12.24.20, we came across professional audio recordings of the concert as well as this pro shot footage which we hadn't seen in years. We've also remastered the recording into a killer live album for you to keep as a reminder. We hope you will love reliving this sentimental show with us as much as we loved playing it. Make sure to check out our new album "Live In London: A Brutal Birthday 1.18.06" that accompanies this concert after the show.
