Ex-American Idol contestant Caleb Flynn stands trial for the murder of his wife Ashley in their Tipp City, Ohio home in February. In opening statements, prosecutors exposed Flynn's affair, during which he allegedly expressed a desire to "kill" his wife in messages before her murder. The state also detailed how Caleb tried to cover up the murder with a fake home invasion. His defense did not deny Caleb's affair but pointed out that it does not equate to him killing his wife and stated that there is no physical evidence, pinning him to this tragedy.
