Top 10 Board Games OF ALL TIME

Adam and I have been going through our collection and putting together our current shared top 10 board games that mean the most to us. We built this list around what we both value most at the table: high player interaction, meaningful decisions that affect others, tension that builds through negotiation or coordination, and experiences that create stories worth retelling long after the game ends. We don’t chase pure optimization or solo puzzle-solving as much as we once did. We want games where the people around us matter. This list reflects that balance — some entries are loud, social, and chaotic while others are tight and cerebral. All of them have earned their place through dozens or hundreds of plays and the conversations they continue to spark. We’re walking through them from number 10 up to number 1, explaining why each one made the cut. There might be a little friendly disagreement on some placements, but this is our joint ranking.
