Discover Masara Town, a vibrant hub in Migori County, Kenya, known for its rich gold mining history, bustling markets, and warm community spirit. In this video, we take you on a journey through Masara’s streets, showcasing its unique culture, local businesses, and the everyday life of residents. The centre acts as the midway between Migori and Muhuru bay. Masara is a populated place (locality) in Migori County, southwestern Kenya. It is about 16.2km from Migori town. And roughly 28.1 km from Sori, a lakeshore town on Lake Victoria. Also, about 25.6 km from Awendo. There exists the Masara–Sori Road, a ~41 km stretch intended to connect Masara to Sori (on the shores of Lake Victoria). Part of this road was tarmacked (~21 km), but there are sections still unworked, and many residents report difficulties due to potholes and poor conditions. It serves as a link between interior towns and lake-shore communities, facilitating trade, transport, and access to services. Its proximity to Migori gives it strategic importance for commerce, especially for goods coming from or going to Lake Victoria. #iam_marwa #migori #kisumu #iammarwa #kisumucity #lakevictoria #homabay #kenya #viral #4k #africa
