Not Going Tow to Tow

The plaintiff says he was driving on New Year’s Day when the car stalled in the road and the defendant towed him to a mechanic. He claims the car was impounded because the mechanic didn’t pay the tow and his belongings — including a tooth — are being held hostage, so he’s suing. The defendant says he’s towed multiple cars for the plaintiff, and he hasn’t paid on any of them. The plaintiff abandoned the car, so he junked it.
