It Won't Take God Long!

You may have been waiting a long time. But it won't take God long. Isaiah 60:22 says, “I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.” There are seasons when God says wait. There are seasons when He says endure. There are seasons when He says be still. And then there are seasons when God says, “Now.” When that moment comes, things that seemed stuck can begin to move. Doors can open. Connections can come together. Years of preparation can suddenly become visible. Joseph spent years in preparation, but his promotion happened in a day. The disciples waited in the upper room, and then suddenly the sound of a rushing mighty wind filled the house. The vision may tarry, but God has not forgotten what He said. Do not mistake a long wait for a long fulfillment.
