Rocky Mountain Hike 2025

This year we embarked on a hike that would take us to the Alberta Recreation Land. We headed west of Rocky Mountain House and drove to the edge of Banff National Park on Highway 11 (David Thompson Highway). We dropped one vehicle off at Owens Creek, and one vehicle at Landslide Lake trailhead. In order to do this hike, you need an Alberta Public Lands Camping Pass.
