SWAHILI NOUN CLASS SYSTEM [Ngeli za Kiswahili] Noun class in Swahili is a group of nouns with similar grammatical characteristics. Noun classes affect the grammatical aspects of a sentence in Swahili that is adjectives, demonstratives, verbs and modifiers (such as “the thing that”).
