CM thusawi (English) Aizawl Institute of Arts & Music for NER, Tuivamit tlang hawnna (12.10.26)

Aizawl, dated 12 October 2026: Union Minister for Development of the North Eastern Region (DoNER), Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, today inaugurated the Aizawl Institute of Arts & Music for the North Eastern Region (NER) at Tuivamit Tlang. He also virtually laid the foundation stones for nine other projects approved and taken up under the Ministry of DoNER. Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma, PWD Minister Pu Vanlalhlana, Art & Culture Minister Pu C. Lalsawivunga, and Adviser to the Chief Minister (Planning), Pu TBC Lalvenchhunga, attended the programme. Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma expressed his gratitude to Union Minister Pu Scindia for his efforts in bringing development to Mizoram and the North Eastern Region. He expressed hope that the projects for which foundation stones were laid today would bring further development and benefits to the people. The projects are: 1. Improvement & Upgradation of Daido Vangkawt Road (NESIDS - Roads), 2. Construction of 132 kV S/C line on D/C Tower from Bairabi to West Phaileng via Mamit with Associated Bays (NEC), 3. Augmentation of North Vanlaiphai Water Supply Scheme (NESIDS - OTRI), 4. Construction of AYUSH Development Centre at MINECO (NESIDS - OTRI), 5. Construction of Pukzing to Silsuri Road (NESIDS - Roads), 6. Construction Tualpui to Champhai Road (NESIDS - Roads), 7. Upgradation of Oil Palm Link Road at Kolasib, Mamit, Lunglei and Lawngtlai Districts (NESIDS - Roads), 8. New Construction of 40 Bedded Hostel Building for ANM School, Zemabawk (NESIDS - OTRI), 9.
